Relay For Life (RFL) is a global movement founded in May 1985. Since then, it has raised about $6.8 billion to fight cancer and gathered over 4 million participants who took part in RFL across the globe annually, making it one of the world’s largest fundraisers.

Singapore is the 25th member country to organise RFL. Singapore Cancer Society - TalkMed Relay For Life 2023 aims to rally the local community to celebrate the lives of those who battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has taken so much.

To show that "No one fights cancer alone", participants can pledge their support by fundraising for the cancer community, completing the 100KM challenge at the physical event, and carrying out activities that promote good health to promote cancer awareness during the Virtual challenge period.

Singapore Cancer Society

Established in 1964, Singapore Cancer Society is a self-funded social service agency which provides patient care services to patients in need through its cancer treatment subsidies, welfare, rehabilitation support programmes, and hospice care. In addition, the Society also provides free cancer screening services and promotes cancer awareness and prevention through its public education and community outreach programmes.

Every year, SCS need to raise S$ 20 million to fund our programmes and services. The Society organises various fundraising activities, including Singapore Cancer Society - TalkMed Relay For Life 2023, to rally the community to come together in the fight against cancer. This year, the Singapore Cancer Society - TalkMed Relay For Life 2023's target is to raise $1,250,000 to provide quality services to cancer patients, their families, and the public.
